I wanted to say how much I appreciate you sharing the pattern for Around the Rose baby blanket. I made it in varigated blue and varigated, bright pink for gifts. The pink one won "Best of Show" in our County Fair. :) I just love the pattern.
Don't let the 5 trebles together throw you ~ it' just a "bobble" stitch. Here's how I do them, step-by-step: Yarn over twice, insert hook & pull up a loop (4 loops on hook). Yarn over & pull through two loops on hook twice (first treble made). You should still have 2 loops left on the hook. Yarn over twice, insert hook in the same stitch & pull up a loop (5 loops on hook). Yarn over & pull through 2 loops (twice). Second treble made (3 loops on hook). Yarn over twice, insert hook in the same stitch & pull up a loop (6 loops on hook). Continue as before until you have done 5 trebles. You should have 6 loops on the hook. Yarn over one more time and pull the hook through all 6 loops. 5 trebel together stitch complete. I did find while working that row that I sometimes needed to "pop out" the bobble from behind to make it "poof" right. Hope this explanation helps ~ I'm excited to see how the finished product works out!
